MeteoTracker is a high-accuracy, innovative mini-weather station specifically designed for measurements on the move, based on a patented technology (RECS) and associated to an App and a cloud-based infrastructure that implements a unique, world-wide mobile weather network.

And, thanks to the plug-in Air Quality module, a set of 12 air quality parameters (particulate matter in number and mass | O3 and EPA index) + CO2 is added to the weather data, generating a total of 23 parameters (weather + air quality) for each measurement point.

Highlights

MeteoTracker patented technology (RECS)

Micro-meteorological, high-accuracy mapping at very-high spatial resolution (9 parameters measured)

Water-resistant

Android and iOS multi-function App

Advanced desktop dashboard

API service for data integration on third party platforms

Advanced CSV data export functions

Cloud-based world-wide mobile weather network

Custom map modules for third party web site integration

Its compact design (75 mm x 75 mm x 35 mm) and its magnetic base mean it can be installed in seconds, and the patented Radiation Error Correction System (RECS → find out more) makes it possible to meet key requirements for weather measurements on the move:

  • high accuracy even under strong solar exposure at very low speed;
  • high measurement speed (essential for detecting the very sharp thermo-hygro variations of measurements taken on the move);
  • full portability

The MeteoTracker device is integrated in a software infrastructure that implements the first mobile weather network and includes:

a mobile, multi-function APP (Android and iOS) for geo-tagging data, real-time visualization and upload to the cloud. The MeteoPhoto feature enables the association between the photos taken by the smartphone and the weather data measured in that instant.

✔ a desktop dashboard for data visualization (real-time and archive) and a detailed analysis of sessions performed using advanced tools (on a map, graphs and numerical format);

CSV export of all the data collected with advanced features.

✔ an API service for data integration on third-party platform

✔ an interactive map module for data visualization and analysis that can be embedded in third party web site (i-frame)

MeteoTracker is also available in a standalone version

Aimed at installation on fleet and service vehicles, data collection is completely automated moving the geo-tagging and connectivity functionalities to a cellular/GNSS module, where the data recording is based on the dynamic status of the vehicle

The Air Quality module

The Air Quality module is a module that gets connected to the MeteoTracker devices through the USB-C port, extending the measurement spectrum to 12 air quality parameters (PM10, PM4, PM2,5, PM1 and PM0.5 massa e numero, certified MCERT) | EPA index based on O3 e NO2 level | O3) and CO2, allowing for unprecedented joint mapping of weather and air quality data at ultra-high spatial resolution, able to generate a remarkable added value in terms of quality and usefulness of the data.

WEATHER POINT DATA COLLECTION
Data from all over the world at high spatial resolution
A weather point is a set of data comprising temperature, humidity, pressure, altitude and other derived parameters (vertical thermal gradient, dew-point, altitude, humidex, solar radiation indicator and speed) which is geo-tagged and sent to the server in real-time.

SESSIONS PERFORMED
Exploring the weather with each session.
A MeteoTracker session is a path along which weather data is collected and geo-tagged at a resolution of few meters.

GLOBAL PRESENCE
The MeteoTracker Community knows no boundaries.
The mobile MeteoTracker network is present on every continent and allows sharing in real-time of measurements taken on the move.
